Lorna Sixsmith’s first book Would You Marry A Farmer? was inspired following the popularity of one of the post on her Irish Farmerette blog. After running a successful crowdfunding campaign to test the market and raise some finance, she self published it in December 2013. It is available in all bookshops with sales of 2000 copies to date. She is currently working on a sequel, How To Be A Perfect Farm Wife, to be self published in September 2015.

Lorna was co-founder of Blog Awards Ireland and co-organised the event for three years. She has been running the KLCK Bloggers Network for five years and her first co-authored social media ebook 365 Social Media Tips is now available on Amazon.

She has spoken at a number of events, including the Dublin Web Summit and National Women’s Enterprise Day in 2014. She has been interviewed on Ireland AM and Tubridy 2FM, as well as being featured in numerous print publications. Lorna is also an occasional panellist on TV3’s Midday.
